WIN A MILLION
The results of the first Win A Million puzzle are now in. There were 254 players in Sept., so there are 127 winners. Half of all players win on every puzzle. These players must now decide whether to take their $15 Round 1 prizes, or continue to Round 2 and try for $25. Then those winners will have the chance to go to Round 3, and so forth.

TOURNAMENT of RICHES
In Aug. 2001 there were 18 Round 1 winners for a total of $620. In Sept. 2001 there were 17 Round 1 winners for a total of $590. Total prize money paid in the Tournament of Riches now stands at $36,830.
There are now 9 players who have reached the $1000 limit and who can no longer enter Round 1. This moves all of the other players up 9 places.
Remember that Dec. 31, 2001 is the cutoff for players who have dropped out of the Tournament of Riches to come back and still be eligible for the guaranteed $1000.

PSYCH
In Sept. 2001 there were three $70 winners and five $14 winners for a total of $280. Total prize money paid in Psych now stands at $3,423. Thirty-one winners have gotten top solutions and have left the contest. All remaining players have thus moved up 31 places. This makes it a great time to start playing Psych.
